Sri Sukhmani Sahib is the Bani of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Ang 262 to 296 in Raag Gauri. It consists of 24 Ashtpadis, and its name means “Jewel/Consoler of Peace of Mind.”
It is cherished as a source of peace, fearlessness, and liberation through Naam remembrance. Traditionally, it is recited for tranquility of mind and relief from worry—a steady invitation to place the heart in remembrance.
